This immersive retreat for 6 participants blends the grounded science of Ketamine-Assisted Therapy and EMDR with the expansive wisdom of holistic healing practices. Nestled on a car-free island, our experienced clinicians and healing practitioners guide you through a weekend designed for deep insight, connection, and transformation—in community.

A bridgeless barrier island off the Gulf Coast of Florida—no roads, no commerce, just nature. Dolphins, sea turtles, manatees,

and the slow rhythm of the tides guide the weekend.

Fly into Sarasota (SRQ), Ft. Myers (RSW), or Punta Gorda (PGD)
Ride-share to Gasperilla Marina in Placida, FL to meet up with staff
Staff will transport you on a 15-minute boat ride to the island


Inclusive fee: $2,700.

What Is Included:

  • 2 online prep sessions

  • 3 KAT sessions

Not Included:

  • Medical Evaluation & medicine (Ketamine) (approx. $285–$500 depending on state), referral provided.

  • Travel expenses such as flights if not driving distance

  • Ride share to Gasparilla Marina if coming from an airport/not driving.

Reimbursement for medical eval may be available via out-of-network benefits

  • This program complies with al apolitical laws. All medical services are provided by licensed professionals unaffiliated with Mind’s Eye Psychotherapy. Mind’s Eye does not administer ketamine nor provide medical services. Ketamine is oral and self administered. Participation is based on a clinical screening for fit and saftey.

  • Not for those currently in psychiatric crisis or with suicidal ideation

    Not suitable for those without access to an outside therapist or psychiatric support

    Not a substitute for emergency or long-term psychiatric care

  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the application is denied. If denied your deposit will be refunded.  We are unable to transfer tuition payments to a subsequent event. Please understand that cancellations impose a burden on our staff and the below policy covers us in the event we are unable to fill a cancelled spot.

    • Cancellations made more than 60 days before the training start date will receive a full refund of payment, minus the deposit.

    • Cancellations made within 60 days of the training start date will receive a 50% refund of payment, minus the deposit.

    • Cancellations made 4 weeks or less before the training start date are not eligible for a refund.

    • In addition to the above, we understand that life happens and things come up. If you experience an illness, a loved one's death, or some other urgent/emergent situation that means you cannot attend the retreat, please let us know and we will work hard to find a mutually agreeable solution.

Meet 1:1 with a facilitator to determine eligibility. After your application is approved, you will be invited to a one on one assessment with one of our group leaders to determine if you are a good fit and if you feel confident in moving forward.

Schedule Medical Evaluation & receive prescription, We will refer you to a medical provider for an evaluation. If you already have been evaluated for Ketamine assisted therapy and have obtained medication, we only require a release of information so we can contact your provider if needed. 

Obtain medication (Ketamine troches which are taken orally and dissolve in your mouth)  to carry with you to Little Gasparilla Island.

Sharon Steckler, MSW, LCSW

With over 35 years of therapeutic experience, Sharon brings a grounded, compassionate presence to every healing journey. Trained in Ketamine Assisted Therapy, EMDR, and Psychedelic Somatic work; she holds a safe, inclusive space where all that arises is welcomed and transformation can gently unfold.

Kate Beckler, LCSW

Kate is a compassionate therapist and EMDRIA Approved Consultant who creates a safe, non-judgmental space for healing and growth. Trained in MDMA- and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, she specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction, and skillfully supports preparation and integration of psychedelic experiences. With experience facilitating psilocybin retreats and presenting internationally, Kate brings wisdom, clarity, and hope—helping others transform challenges into insight and move toward a more grounded, fulfilling future.

Bri Nourie, RYT-200

Bri is a neuroscientist, registered yoga teacher, and practicing Buddhist exploring the intersection of science and spirituality to support profound transformation. With a background in mindfulness, somatic healing, and altered states of consciousness, she guides others in reconnecting with mind, body, and spirit.

Lisa is the visionary founder of Sauce Anna Lisa, bringing over 20 years of professional experience and a lifetime of culinary passion to her work. Known for her “less is more” philosophy, she creates vibrant, nourishing food using minimally processed ingredients. Her acclaimed pasta sauces and wellness-based café reflect her belief that mindful cuisine can be both deeply satisfying and profoundly healing. At the retreat, Lisa shares her love of food as a pathway to connection, vitality, and transformation.
